This is a belt used in motorcycles and transmissions.

There are two types: single cog (Raw-edge Cog Variable Speed V-belt) and double cog (Double Cog Variable Speed V-belt). It has excellent deformation resistance and flexibility, and allows for smooth changes in speed ratio.

  • DCVS (Double Cog Variable Speed V-belt)
    Used under high load conditions

    (1) Rubber
    (2) Tensile cord
    (3) Fabric/Rubber

    • V-belt with cog shapes on both sides.
    • Improves deformation resistance and also ensures flexibility with the cog shape on the back.

Features

  • Features of DCVS (Double Cog Variable Speed V-belt)

    • Deformation resistance has been improved by increasing the belt thickness (approx. 35% increase compared to RCVS)
    • Flexibility has been improved by changing the back cog (approx. 15% increase compared to RCVS)

    ⇒These two factors have made it possible to achieve both deformation resistance and flexibility.
